I’ve been going pretty crazy with the GR Dunk SB pickups, so when these Nike SB Dunk Low Black/Washed Coral dropped, I had to have them!
These get their name from the colorway and include sets of black and pink laces. Even though I have the very similar Crimson Tint Air Jordan 1, the shades of pink are just different enough to warrant both pickups.
Just like the 1s I referenced, these look great with almost anything! I’d recommend either light washed denim and a grey top or dark/black pants and a black top. The blackout fit is probably the easiest to pull off with these. You really shouldn’t have any trouble working this mostly black shoe into an outfit though.
Despite the fairly janky materials, I’m still glad I picked these up and overall I like what SB is doing as far as colorways. Simple yet interesting! If only they could nail the shape and fit a little bit more, they will have an amazing kick on their hands, but these are still worth it to me.
How Are The Materials?
The materials here are super basic. While the suede is not sandpaper or felt, it’s not premium at all, and is rather basic. Meanwhile the leather is thin and will crease right away. Do not buy these if you are looking for excellent materials. However, if you like the colorway, and know what to expect from a GR Dunk SB in terms of materials, then by all means grab a pair!
How Do They Fit?
These Nike SB Dunk Low Black/Washed Coral are somewhat comfortable at true to size. However, at a half size up, I find them way more wearable and comfy. Yes, they look and feel a little big on foot, however the tradeoff is I can actually wear these a few hours in a row instead of like an hour max. If you can nail the sizing right on modern SBs, they can be just as comfy to wear casually as any other shoe.
